The Kid Fall/Winter 2019 collection proudly introduces and incorporates the new Woolrich logo which marks a significant milestone for the brand.
Staying true to the Woolrich mantra Garments with a Purpose, functional garments maintain their principal position with a copious amount of high performing pieces. For instance, the packable family constructed from Primaloft combines not only a delicate mix of incredibly warm and feather light insulation but also boasts versatility as another key feature.
Materials such as Cordura, City Fabric and Teton Canvas ensure durability and resistance to the wear and tear that is often an inevitable occurrence with children’s clothes - especially within an urban environment. References to America with printed flags and the traditional American colour palette are dotted around the collection.
A tribute to the vast Woolrich archive, the traditional red and black Buffalo Check makes a few appearances throughout both the boy’s and girl’s collections however, an ultra-feminine update in the form of a fuchsia and Marine Scarlet colour combination transforms the iconic pattern.
The overshirt category offering is generous for FW19 where the clean designs of the Alaskan and Hunting models take centre stage whilst promising protection against the mild chill of early autumn. Sherpa, chenille and velvet contribute some much-needed warmth when the mercury drops but also add an interesting textural element to the collection.
A new addition for mountain lovers – the Thermore padded ski jacket and trousers will keep the heat in from sunrise to sunset. Non-discriminatory and perfect for the back to school season – FW19 Kid caters to all ages, activities and weather conditions.
